aw, sweets, I am really glad you reached out to me.

We all have days like this (I am actually going through one right now). The trick is to pull ourselves out of this self-loathing space. I do it a few ways. first, i reach out to friends. An affirmation from a friend can really help.  I also do some self-care.  For me, it’s taking a bubble bath or napping. Sometimes it’s working out or taking a walk. 

I don’t know you, but I want you to know that I have been there.  I really appreciate your compliments, and for the most part they are true. But sometimes I feel like a failure.  I am lucky to have people and things in my life to help me realize it’s not true.

I found it offensive that she didn’t want to wear the dress because it made her look big. I also don’t like that in order to make her feel better she was told that she wasn’t big, and that she had the right kind of curves.

Again, people can say whatever they want on their blogs. But I don’t like that on mine, especially when I work to love myself. (not that it’s hard) :P
